The EU-China Youth Leaders Summit is a flagship forum for Europe-China collaboration hosted by the All-China Youth Federation (ACYF). It brings together young people from Europe and China involved in politics, diplomacy, and technology to work towards a more stable, bilateral relationship between the EU and China. This year’s summit will take place in Hangzhou and Beijing in China from September 18th-24th, 2026.
As an international gathering focused on youth-driven solutions, WYDF highlights the importance of cross-cultural collaboration and inclusive participation. The forum emphasizes themes such as sustainable development, innovation, global governance, and youth leadership—areas that are increasingly central to shaping resilient and forward-looking societies.
At a time when global challenges, from climate change to digital transformation, require coordinated action, platforms like these provide a critical space for knowledge exchange, partnership-building, and actionable outcomes. The forum not only elevates youth voices but also integrates them into broader policy and development frameworks, ensuring that future strategies are both inclusive and impactful. Notably, contributing to this dialogue is Young European Leadership (YEL), reinforcing the importance of structured youth engagement in global decision-making spaces.
YEL’s Delegation to the Summit
We are proud to announce that Young European Leadership (YEL) will be represented at the EU-China Youth Leaders Summit. This opportunity highlights YEL’s expanding role in bridging youth leadership with global governance and development initiatives while maintaining collaborative ties with China. The host of the summit, the All-China Youth Federation, are also responsible for China’s G20 Youth delegations. This enhanced collaboration format will allow YEL and ACYF to continue to work towards improving relations between the European Union and China.
