Young European Leadership (YEL) is excited to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Treescape Planet Organization. They are an environmental NGO based in Uganda, dedicated to promoting sustainable land management practices. Their mission is to empower communities to become champions of sustainable development focusing on afforestation, agroforestry and reforestation initiatives.
This collaboration strengthens YEL’s commitment to youth leadership in sustainability and climate action, aligning with our mission to empower young changemakers in shaping a greener, more sustainable future.
Through this partnership we will be able to raise awarneress about sustainable land use and reforestation through climate and environmental advocacy; conecting global youth leaders with grassroots environmental initiatives and provide young people with the skills and knowledge to drive change in sustainability and policy, something Treescape Planet have been implementing in Uganda at great length. By working together, YEL and Treescape Planet will bring wider youth engagement in impactful environmental initiatives, ensuring that young voices are at the forefront of the global sustainability movement.
