Young European Leadership (YEL) is proud to announce its inclusion in the EU Youth Stakeholder Group, a significant step in reinforcing its mission to empower young leaders across Europe. YEL joins 41 prominent youth organizations from diverse backgrounds, all working together to shape the future of EU youth policies.
The EU Youth Stakeholder Group plays a vital role in supporting the 2019-2027 EU Youth Strategy, which, following the legacy of the European Year of Youth 2022, aims to facilitate exchanges and youth consultations on forthcoming EU policy initiatives. This group serves as a key platform for dialogue between youth organizations, EU institutions, and national governments, ensuring that young voices are heard and reflected in decision-making processes.
As a member of this group, YEL will actively contribute to discussions on critical issues affecting young people, including education, employment, climate action, and social inclusion. This milestone reinforces YEL’s commitment to advocating for youth interests at the European level and equipping the next generation with the tools to lead positive change.
Stay tuned as YEL takes on this new challenge. The work has already begun, with the first meeting of the group scheduled to take place in Brussels on March 27 and 28, 2025.
