On March 17th, the European Union\u2019s delegates to the Youth G7 (Y7) conference launched their European Youth Survey<\/a>. Targeting individuals aged 16 to 30, the survey aims to ensure a democratic process and foster better representation of the diverse perspectives held by the continent\u2019s youth. This initiative underscores a concerted effort to engage with the demographic whose concerns and aspirations will shape the future of our society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The European Youth Survey stands as a testament to our delegation\u2019s commitment to inclusivity and participatory governance. By soliciting the opinions of young people from various corners of the EU, we seek to gain insights into the issues that matter most to you. As such, we are working with all of YEL’s partners to spread the survey as far and wide as possible, hoping to gain as much insight into the perspectives of youth as possible to best represent you at this summit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The timing of the survey\u2019s launch is particularly significant, coinciding with the upcoming Y7 summit in Ottawa in May of 2025. As delegates prepare to convene and discuss pressing global challenges, the insights gleaned from the European Youth Survey will serve as a valuable resource. By amplifying the voices of young Europeans, policymakers can ensure that their decisions are informed by the perspectives of those who will inherit the consequences of today\u2019s actions.
